BIOGRAPHY
Patrick Stewart, M.Sc., President of Envirosphere Consultants Limited, has over 22 years experience in environmental science, consulting, and environmental assessment, in particular focusing on bottom organisms, sediments and seabed processes. Of particular relevance, he has extensive knowledge of the impact of hydrocarbon development on the marine environment, and has participated in preparation of various environmental impact statements for offshore petroleum development in Eastern Canada. He has significant experience in biological, chemical, physical and geological features of the marine environment and has carried out studies of seabed organisms in past part of baseline projects in the Canadian Eastern Arctic, the Scotian Shelf, and on the Grand Banks conduced for hydrocarbon development, and has carried out a wide range of coastal projects, including baseline and environmental effects monitoring in both Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. Mr. Stewart's broad knowledge and ability to coordinate projects of a multidisciplinary nature are key assets.
